A Festive Project Makes it to 10,000 Supporters on LEGO Ideas

The Winter Village with Working Train has reached 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. The project reached the milestone with a handful of days to spare and has benefited from the current festive cheer surrounding the holiday period.

The project is a miniature scale build made up of 575 pieces, making it one of the smallest builds to make the current review round. The design includes several micro scale houses and a working train that can be turned on via a switch.

The project would make for a perfect Christmas decoration but the appeal of this set is perhaps somewhat limited outside of the holiday period. This could hinder its chances of being approved as an official set, as consumer demand is a key criteria for picking winning projects. However, time will tell, with the results of the last review stage of 2022 being announced early next year.
