Details of Micro Rocket Launch Pad (40712) GWP Revealed

Details on the availability window of the Micro Rocket Launch Pad (40712) GWP, and the qualifying spend required to pick it up, have been revealed by Instagram user newelementary.

The set will be available from 16th February if you're an Insiders member and from the 19th February for everyone else. The 325 piece build will require a spend of £180 / $200 / €200, which is fairly hefty. With no new release tying into this promotion, it's a lot to ask. However, given it's based on the popular and nostalgic Classic Space theme, there's likely to be no shortage of people willing to shell out that amount. This means that although technically the GWP is available until 25th February, we expect it to sell out way before.

Interestingly, this is the first time LEGO have decided to give early access to Insiders on a GWP, as normally we only see this with flagship sets.
