The LEGO Anatomy project has reached 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas and now enters the third review round of 2023.

This is the second project from designer legotruman to reach the current review round, as their Moon Palace build reached the 10K mark just a short while ago.

The project has an educational aspect to it as it aims to help teach children about the anatomy of the human body whilst enjoying the LEGO building process.

It also teaches us that minifigures are just like us humans and not hollow inside as LEGO would want us to believe!

Half of the giant minifigure has been cut away to show its internal organs, including the brain, heart, lungs, liver, and small and large intestines. The skeleton is effectively a scaled up version of the parts seen on the regular-sized skeleton minifigures.

As well as being an educational tool, it also makes for an eye-catching display piece. The model comes in at 28.8 cm / 11.5 in tall x 21 cm / 8.2 in wide x 11.6 cm / 4.6 in deep. This makes it built to the same scale as the Up-Scaled Minifigure (40649) and LEGO House: A Minifigure Tribute (40504) sets.

This is another project that's very similar to a set already on shelves, which is likely to hurt its chances of making it to production. However, we'll find out next year if it's successful.

The four other projects to have achieved 10K supporters in the current review round are listed below:
