LEGO Chevrolet Camaro Z28 (10304) Officially Revealed

Today LEGO officially revealed the next large-scale car model in the Icons (formerly Creator Expert) range.

The Chevrolet Camaro is a classic American muscle car, which was designed to be a competitor to the Ford Mustang. Conveniently, the 10265 Ford Mustang is still available to buy from LEGO, so you can easily display both nostalgic automobiles side-by-side. The Z28 moniker stood for “Camaro Special Performance Package”, which was introduced with the second generation of car.

This set progresses from previous car sets by offering the greatest level of customisation to date. The Camaro can be decorated in three different colours of racing stripe and the convertible car can either be displayed with its roof up or down. If that wasn’t enough, there are also two headlight options to choose from and two variants of the rear license plate. This leads to 18 possible ways to display to model, meaning there’s a good chance yours will look different from your friends.

The Camaro joins a number of other sets being released on the 1st August, so you don’t have long to wait. It will be available for £149.99 / $169.99 / €169.99, which is a bump up from the RRP of the very similarly sized Mustang, so reflects the price hikes we will see for a number of other sets in August.
