LEGO City 2022 Passenger Train Revealed
2nd May 2022
Along with the new LEGO City Freight Train we now have images of the 2022 Passenger Train that will replace the 60197 City Passenger Train which has been on sale since 2018 and will be retiring at the end of July.
Set 60337 has a release date of 1st June 2020, consists of 764 pieces and will retail for €149.99.
This new train features a more modern look than its predecessor and has a bullet train style look with a built up nose rather than a single piece. The front of the train has two working lights, plus this time round the two carriage have worked doors, something that has frustratingly missing from the previous train set.
Aside from the model itself you also get six minifigures, a small station build, 16 curved track pieces and 8 straight track pieces. There's no need to rely on an app to control the engine as you get a physical controller included (Thank you LEGO!).
The colour scheme for me is slightly strange, you don't often see a green / grey / black colour scheme used in real life trains but overall there is a lot to like about this set and it's definitely one of the better train sets we've seen recently.
Chris has been playing with LEGO bricks for as long as he can remember. His favorite themes are Icons, Star Wars and Harry Potter
