LEGO has officially revealed the first minifigure-scale Land Rover under the Creator theme.
Last month, LEGO released the large-scale 10317 Land Rover Classic Defender 90, but this is a much more affordable way to get your hands on a brick-based version of the vehicle, with a price tag of £13.49 / $14.99 / €14.99 for a piece count of 150.
Its proportions are also much more suited to the roads, or off-road terrain, of your LEGO city, so it's likely to be a popular set amongst city builders.

Choosing to release the set under the Creator theme is an odd choice for the LEGO Group, and it might explain why they opted for a yellow livery instead of the classic green. Due to the lower price tag, the Land Rover Defender branding on the vehicle's grill is recreated with a sticker, instead of a printed piece.
Personally, I love the colour scheme and the overall design. It recreates the Defender styling well considering it's a small-scale build and is one of the best looking cheap vehicles LEGO have released of late.
