LEGO Galaxy Explorer (10497) Officially Revealed

Another set revealed at LEGO Con 2022 today was the Galaxy Explorer. Like the Lion Knight's Castle, this set is also a tribute to classic LEGO sets, specifically in this case the original Galaxy Explorer set from 1979. In fact the LEGO chose to give it the set number 10497 to pay homage to the original which has set number 497.

This updated version of the classic set will have 1,254 pieces including 4 minifigures and will be releasing on 1st August 2022 for £89.99 / $99.99 / 99.99€.
