Although we've had leaked images of the Malfoy Manor Harry Potter set for a little while now, today we have official images courtesy of Smyths toy store.
As mentioned before this set will have 1,601 pieces, 9 minifigures and it will release on 1st January 2025 for $149.99 (UK and EU prices to follow).

I wasn't alone in criticizing this set for it's thinness (if that's a word) but having seen the interior it's actually changed my mind about this set a bit. It has tons of detail, enough that you could display this set from either direction, the front or the back.

You get 9 minifigures in the set which is decent for a set this size although none of them particularly stand out. Purists of the books / films may be upset that Charity Burbage doesn't get her own minifigure although it was unlikely LEGO was going to include her given her gruesome demise.
Overall it's a good set, but just a few studs more in depth would have made it a great set.
Let us know your thoughts in the comments section, plus if you want to keep ahead of all the sets rumoured or known to be releasing over the rest of this year, you can check out our 2024 sets tracker.
