LEGO has announced the second Icons set of 2024, the Kingfisher Bird, which will be releasing on 1 February 2024. It's another in a long line of sets inspired by the natural world, which are coming thick and fast at the moment.

At 834 pieces, this is a reasonably sized build, measuring in at 21 cm (8 in.) high, 31 cm (12 in.) wide, and 17 cm (6.5 in.) deep, which is perfect for it's intended purpose - displaying on a desk or shelf.

As well as the brightly coloured bird, the set also includes a miniature wetland habitat with a couple of reeds and some water. The kingfisher can be displayed with a fish in it's mouth and in a variety of positions, thanks to it's movable head, wings, and claws.
