We've had leaked images out for quite a while now but today LEGO has officially announced the release of the LEGO Icons The Endurance set.

Of course this set is going to be released on Black Friday (29th November 2024) and will retail for £229.99 / $269.99.

The set is based on the ship that Sir Ernest Shackleton used in his legendary Antarctic expedition and it consists of 3,011 pieces and has 10 sails

The build is an interior spread over multiple decks and has detachable lifeboats as well as a brick built display stand to rest the ship on.

It's a shame the ship doesn't include any minifigures, it would have been to have at least gotten Ernest Shackleton himself, but if you buy it on release day you'll get Shackleton's Lifeboard, a free GWP, that does include him as a minifigure.
