LEGO Jurassic Park 30th Anniversary Sets Officially Revealed
8th March 2023
Today, LEGO officially revealed the summer wave of Jurassic Park sets, which are all based on scenes from the original Jurassic Park movie that celebrates its 30th birthday this year.
Velociraptor Escape
Set number: 76957
Price: £31.99 / $39.99 / €37.99
Pieces: 137
Available: 1st June 2023
Where to buy?: View at the LEGO® Shop
This is the obligatory 4+ set and depicts the demise of game warden Robert Muldoon at the hands of a velociraptor. Although it's a juniorised set, it's likely to be sought after because it's the first time we've got that character in a LEGO set.
Dilophosaurus Ambush
Set number: 76958
Price: £20.99 / $19.99 / €26.99
Pieces: 211
Available: 1st June 2023
Where to buy?: View at the LEGO® Shop
This set depicts the scene where Dennis Nedry is attacked by the seemingly harmless Dilophosaurus.
Triceratops Research
Set number: 76959
Price: £46.99 / $49.99 / €52.99
Pieces: 281
Available: 1st June 2023
Where to buy?: View at the LEGO® Shop
The biggest draw of this set is that it includes one of the most realistically coloured Triceratops LEGO have given us, as well as the iconic jeep. It even includes the giant pile of poop from the famous scene where the sick Triceratops is discovered!
Brachiosaurus Discovery
Set number: 76960
Price: £74.99 / $79.99 / €84.99
Pieces: 512
Available: 1st June 2023
Where to buy?: View at the LEGO® Shop
It's always exciting when LEGO releases a new dinosaur mould and in this set we get a Brachiosaurus for the first time. It also offers a chance to get John Hammond, who only previously appeared in the large 75936 T-rex Rampage set from 2019.
Visitor Centre: T-rex & Raptor Attack
Set number: 76961
Price: £114.99 / $119.99 / €34.99
Pieces: 693
Available: 1st June 2023
Where to buy?: Pre-order at the LEGO® Shop
The largest set from the summer wave includes six minifigures and two dinosaurs. While the velociraptor and T-rex sport new prints, they both use existing moulds, so this set doesn't feel like the best value for money. However, it's nice to get a Ray Arnold minifigure as he has also only previously appeared in the 75936 T-rex Rampage and now costs a fair bit.
