LEGO has officially revealed the Dinosaur Fossils: T. rex Skull, which will be hitting shelves at the start of next year.

The set features a displayable T.rex skull alongside a fossiised footprint. The set also includes bronze-style Jurassic World plague showing information about the dinosaur.

At 577 pieces, the set doesn't break the bank, retailing for £34.99 / $39.99 / €39.99.

Despite the 9+ age recommendation, this set seems very much aimed at the adult market. The nostalgia around the original trilogy seems strong amongst AFOLs so making more adult orientated sets for the theme would be very welcome.

The set is available to buy from 1 January 2024. At the moment only one more Jurassic set is rumoured to be coming in January, with that being the 76963 Baby Dinosaur Rescue Center (4+) set.
