LEGO Jurassic World Dominion 2022 Sets Revealed

12th February 2022

LEGO T-rex Breakout set

Lego has revealed two more sets based on the upcoming Jurassic World Dominion film as well as a set based on the original 1993 Jurassic Park film. The two JWD sets are the Pyroraptor & Dilophosaurus Transport (76951) and Triceratops Pick-up Truck Ambush (76950) which will both retail for $39.99. All three sets will be available to purchase from 17th April.

Pyroraptor & Dilophosaurus Transport

Set number: 76951

Price: £39.99 / $39.99 / 39.99€

Pieces: 254

At 254 pieces this set doesn't have a great price per piece figure but generally the Jurassic World set feel a bit more pricier because the dinosaurs are bigger, more specialised molds. The Pyroraptor is a completely new mold and has a feather/scale effect on it's tail. You also get three minigures of Ian Malcolm, Ellie Sattler and a generic guard.

Triceratops Pick-up Truck Ambush

Set number: 76950

Price: £39.99 / $39.99 / 39.99€

Pieces: 210

The Triceratops Pick-up Truck Ambush is a similar build, featuring a vehicle build, four minifigures and Triceratops.

T-rex Breakout

LEGO Pyroraptor & Dilophosaurus Transport set

Set number: 76956

Price: £89.99 / $99.99 / 89.99€

Pieces: 1,212

This set is definetly the pick of the bunch and for a lot of LEGO fans it's one that we never thought would get made. Over the years LEGO has had so many oppurtunities to create a set depiciting the iconic T.rex breakout scene from the original movie but always rejected it. In fact my main critism of the Jurassic Park: T. rex Rampage was that is was missing a Ford Explorer.
