LEGO Star Wars UCS Jabba's Sail Barge Officially Revealed

17th September 2024

After being leaked yesterday, LEGO have now officially revealed the next LEGO Star Wars Ultimate Collector Series set, Jabba's Sail Barge (75397). The set will be available from 3rd October and if you're an Insider, you'll receive the Luke Skywalker's Lightsaber GWP when purchasing it. If you're not an Insider, you'll have to wait until 6th October to qualify, but given the GWP is only available until stocks last, it's likely to sell out way before then.

Details and images of both sets are provided below.

The Sail Barge is the 8th largest Star Wars set yet, being made up of 3,942 peices. This comes at a significant cost, as you'll have to part with £429.99 / $499.99 / €499.99. The completed build is 77cm (30.5 in.) long and has a full interior consisting of the cockpit, a prison cell, armoury, and entertainment room, while the top deck features some brand new fabric sails. In addition, there is a display stand with space for Jabba and a LEGO Star Wars 25th anniversary brick.

The set features 11 minifigures, including Wooof and Vizam who are making their debut.

LEGO Star Wars Luke Skywalker's Lightsaber set

Luke Skywalker's Lightsaber is the third buildable weapon from the franchise, with LEGO lightsabers being a subtheme I'd like to see more of. The two previous brick-based lightsabers came in 2020 and 2021 and belonged to Yoda and Luke respectively. This version is modelled on Luke's lightsaber as it appears in Return of the Jedi. This is the best of three by some margin in my opinion and I expect it will fetch a serious sum on the aftermarket.
