LEGO Technic Ferrari Daytona SP3 (42143) Officially Revealed

LEGO has officially revealed it's next Technic set, the Ferrari Daytona SP3. The Ferrari Daytona joins a whole host of sets launching on 1st June 2022 and will consist of 3778 pieces for a retail price of £349.99 / $399.99 / 399.99€.

The set is based off the Ferrari Daytona SP3, a car that pays homage to the original 1968 Daytona. The SP3 was unveiled on 20 November 2021 and has entered production this year read to be shipped to buyers in 2023. Only 559 Daytona SP3's will be built and they have an eye watering price of $2.25 million. No doubt this set from LEGO is a collaboration to help build hype and excitement for the real car's debut next year.

The set had a price per piece of £349.99 / $399.99 / 399.99€ and is a 1:8 scale model featuring teering, a V12 engine, an 8-speed sequential gearbox with paddle shifter, openingbutterfly doors, a removable roof and shock absorbers.

The Ferrari Daytona SP3 joins a growing list of supercars that have been recreated in LEGO form and joins the Lamborghini Sián FKP 37, Bugatti Chiron, Ferrari 488 and Porsche 911 RSR in LEGO's active product line.
