Shopping Guide: New LEGO Sets and GWPs Available in October 2023

Today sees the release of several new sets on LEGO's online shop, as well as some confirmed and rumoured GWPs.

GWPs

The Magic Maze is available today with a qualifying spend of £130 / $150 / €150 or more. This is high, but it's one of the largest GWPs in terms of piece count and it offers up a fun and interesting build that's good enough to be a standalone set.

Two further GWPs are rumoured for October. The first being the LEGO Creator 3in1 40597 Pirate Island, which comes in at 214 pieces and is expected to be available from 13 October.

The second is the LEGO Disney 100 40659 Mini Steamboat Willie, due to arrive two days later on 15 October. This set reportedly has a whooping 424 pieces, so it's worth bracing yourself for the spend threshold on this one. We're expecting a scaled down version of the LEGO Ideas 21317 Steamboat Willie and fingers crossed we get at least Mickey or Minnie, and hopefully both.

Being October, we might also see a return of the 40608 Halloween Fun VIP Add-On Pack.
