LEGO Ideas Medieval Watchtower

The Medieval Watchtower has achieved 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas, meaning it’s a contender for being turned into an official set.

The set’s designer is Peter Keith who has joined the 10K club on his first attempt. The project is intended to go hand in hand with the recent medieval themed sets, such as the Medieval Castle (31120), Medieval Blacksmith (21325), and Lion Knights’ Castle (10305). Traditional castle-based sets are extremely popular amongst LEGO enthusiasts so it’s no surprise that this project raced to the 10,000 mark. It also joins two other medieval projects in the review stage, which depict an alchemist and a guarded inn.

The build is made up of six pieces representing the different levels of the watchtower. When fully assembled the tower has some impressive height and would act as a perfect lookout for knights to defend the surrounding villagers. The project also introduces a new faction of knights who are dressed in yellow and black and bear a raven insignia.
