About this set
This minifigure pack was produced to commemorate the opening of LEGO's 100th North American store, which occurred with the opening of the Crossgates Mall in Albany, New York in 2019. The set was given away at all 100 stores with a poster to customers making a minimum purchase of $50. It includes the same minifigure included in the LEGO Shop Employee Minifigure (5001622) polybag, but with gold back printing saying “100 LEGO STORES NORTH AMERICA”. It also had a metallic backing card and a 1x4 red brick, also with “100 LEGO STORES NORTH AMERICA” printed on it. At North American LEGO Store openings, exclusives minifigure packs are usually limited to 400-500, so based on 100 stores, it's estimated that 40,000 - 50,000 of this minifigure were produced.
