This set was available to buy for $50 at the 2008 San Diego Comic Con. It included the exclusive 20004 Jungle Cruiser polybag, which was given out with the September/October 2008 issue of the LEGO BrickMaster magazine, and a small-scale build of the opening to ancient underground cavern. It also included a minifigure of Indiana Jones and two Ugha Warrior minifigures, none of which were exclusive to the set. The packaging was designed to resemble a wooden crate, like the one used to store the Ark of the Covenant. The set was limited to 500 copies, with each copy being numbered from 1 to 500.
