About this set
This set was given out to attendees of a VIP event held at the Flatiron District LEGO store during the 2014 New York Comic Con. The attendees were people who had a special invite to the BIONICLE panel. The blister pack contains a trans-clear Bionicle Mask of Fire piece, which was exclusive to the set. The set was limited to 100 copies and each pack was unnumbered.
A further 1,500 copies of this set were distributed in slightly different packaging (comcon042-1) to winners of a daily prize draw at the 2014 New York Comic Con. This set differs as it has a red strip across the centre saying “2014 NYCC VIP LEGO BIONICLE Event”.
