This minifigure pack was given out free with a minimum purchase of $35 to the first 300 customers at the May 2011 grand opening of the Sherway Gardens Mall store in Toronto, Canada. Each blister pack was numbered from 1 to 500, so the remaining 200 packs will have been given out at other promotional events. It is reported that some rare unnumbered packs were also given out to LEGO store employees and people who helped out at the grand opening. Each minifigure has unique back printing saying “2011 The LEGO Store Toronto, Canada”.
