LEGO has officially revealed the next set to be released under its Ideas theme, the A-Frame Cabin. The set is based on the winning design from the second review round of 2021, which was submitted by Andrea Lattanzio (Norton74). The A-Frame Cabin will hit shelves on 1st February for VIP members and the 4th February for everyone else.

The set contains 2,082 pieces and will retail for £159.99 / $179.99 / €179.99, giving it a reasonable price per piece of 7.7p / 8.6c. The main house is built with detachable roofs, that when removed reveal a living room, study area, kitchen on the downstairs, and a bedroom on the upper floor.

The house is full of objects needed for life in the great outdoors, and outside there is wildlife galore, including butterflies, otters, frogs, and birds.

There have been some significant changes to the original submission, most notably the trees, which have had a complete redesign and look much worse for it. There's also a considerable reduction in detail on the exterior of the cabin, but the result is a cheaper set, which many LEGO fans will appreciate.

There are 4 minifigures in the set making up a healthy, adventurous LEGO family.
