This set was available to buy on a first come first served basis to the first 200 customers at each day of the 2012 New York Comic Con. The convention was a four-day event and 200 copies were also distributed at the Preview Night, meaning that this set was limited to 1,000 copies, with each copy being numbered from 1 to 1,000. The set included a mini scale build of Luke’s landspeeder and a Luke Skywalker minifigure and came in a round metal tin with an instruction booklet. The minifigure does not include any exclusive printed parts but has a unique head mould because the top stud is hollow.
