LEGO Harry Potter 2021 Summer Sets Revealed

Only a few hours ago I was saying that LEGO should soon be giving details of the summer wave of Harry Potter sets and as if by magic they've gone and done it. Alongside the two sets we already knew about (Hogwarts Chamber of Secrets and Hogsmeade Village) there are 6 other sets to be released making 8 in total.

Generally my thoughts on this range is very positive, there are some surprises that I didn't see coming like the "Harry Potter & Hermione Granger" set featuring buildable minifigures and the Wizard Chess set is a stroke of genius. I probably won't be buying the former and even though the chess set doesn't appeal to me that much I'll probably pick it up just for the gold minifigure.

There's also a nice variety in terms of price so there will be a set to fit everyone's budget.

My only real negative is that the "Hogwarts Polyjuice Potion Mistake" set doesn't include Moaning Myrtle, but I can't complain considering you are getting 4 minifigures including a golden one for £17.99.

The "Hogwarts Chamber of Secrets" is definitely a day one purchase for me and I'm slightly surprised we're not getting a Gringotts Bank as it was strangely missing from last year's Diagon Alley set. Or maybe we'll just have to wait and see...
