Today LEGO has officially revealed its latest Technic set, the Peugeot 9X8. The set has 1,775 pieces, will retail for £169.99 / $199.99 / €199.99, and will be available from 1 May 2023.

The set is a 1:10 scale replica of the hypercar and reportedly took a year for LEGO to develop. In real life, you'll find this car whizzing around the Le Mans racetrack and competing in the famous 24 hour championships.

The long development time frame has led to a very realistic model, with all the internal workings, such as the seven-speed transmission, V6 engine, 9X8's suspension, and hybrid powertrain system all being accurately recreated.

The Peugeot joins LEGO's existing lineup of dream cars, with the proportions closely matching the Porsche 911 RSR and Ferrari 488 GTE “AF Corse #51”, both of which can be bought for the same price.
