September 2024 CMF Series Rumoured to be Dungeons & Dragons

Details on the licensed CMF series that will be releasing on 1st September have emerged, and if the rumours are to be believed, this will be a Dungeons & Dragons series consisting of 12 minifigures. These will include the following:

• Female Dwarf Barbarian
• Githyanki Warlock
• Tiefling Sorcerer
• Dragonborn Paladin
• Halfling Druid
• Aarakocra Ranger
• Mindflayer
• Half-Elf Bard
• The Lady of Pain
• Szass Tam
• Tasha the Witch Queen

If you're not into D&D then it's likely that list won't mean much to you, and it does seem quite a niche topic for a CMF series. Previously we've been used to getting series from major franchises, such as Harry Potter, DC, and Marvel, so this feels like a strange choice in comparison.

However, I'm not complaining as it's always good to see a more "fringe" subject being given the LEGO spotlight. And we really shouldn't be surprised as LEGO loves an anniversary and this year marks the 50th of D&D, a landmark that will also be commemorated by a LEGO Ideas set soon to be released.

This series should also please LEGO Castle fans as the minifigures could be easily slotted into a medieval settlement and the series is sure to come with lots of useful accessories.
