Sequoia Tree Trail Reaches 10,000 Supporters on LEGO Ideas

The Sequoia Tree Trail project has reached 10,000 supporters and now enters the current review round on LEGO Ideas, which runs until early January 2024.

The project depicts a giant sequoia visitor center with a fully grown sequoia and a younger sequoia. The trees are often considered the largest living organism on earth and can only be found in California.

In addition to the two trees, the project includes a small visitor center reception, a visitor center sign, a slice of a sequoia tree trunk, and well as numerous animals and plants native to the sequoia's ecosystem.

There are also six minifigures, with two visitor center employees and four visitors. The project is made up of 2,940 pieces, which would make it one of the largest Ideas sets to date. With giant sequoia's growing up to 350 ft tall, if this set makes it to production, it could well be one of the tallest LEGO sets ever made.
