Board lovers can rejoice, as LEGO have unexpectedly revealed the 40719 Traditional Chess Set. While I love many of the themed chess sets LEGO have given us over the years (mainly as a source of minifigures), it's refreshing to get a brick-based chess set you'd actually want to use for playing the game.

LEGO has officially revealed a large chunk of its summer 2024 sets, including the highly anticipated Speed Champions line-up. We now have details of 3 new sets which will be released on 1st June 2024.
I have to admit these sets look really good, particularly the G-Wagon that you get with the Mercedes-AMG G 63 & Mercedes-AMG SL 63 set. Plus it's nice to get another Speed Champions scale formula 1 car which will go nicely with the McLaren and Mercedes cars. Hopefully we will get cars from other teams in the near future.
