The much anticipated Endurance Ship LEGO set has been leaked today with a release date of 29th November 2024 to tie in with Black Friday.
The set will consist of 3,011 pieces and will retail for £219.99 / $259.99.
The set is based on the Endurance which first set sail in 1912 and unfortunately sank while on the Imperial Trans-Antarctic Expedition. It seems like LEGO has a penchant for producing sets of ships that sank. Speaking of which, this set will pair very nicely with the Titanic set which was released in 2021.
Okay I made a mistake when I said that the Botanical Garden was the last LEGO Ideas set of 2024 because another one has just leaked and it's the Books Are My Passion set.
However this set will be a GWP rather than a normal Ideas set. We don't know when it will be available but it will probably be available with a certain spend threshold rather than being tied to the purchase of a specific set or theme.
Along with the Malfoy Manor we also got unofficial images of the Diagon Alley Wizarding Shops set today which will also be released on 1st January 2025
The set will have 2,750 pieces and it is a micro scale model of Diagon alley including Gringotts which is nice. This set will be a good option for those that aren't prepared to fork out £760 / $880 to have the larger scale Diagon Alley and Gringotts Bank sets.
For a while we have known that one of the sets included in the first wave of 2025 LEGO Harry Potter sets would be the Malfoy Manor and today we have our first glimpse of that set (we apologise for the low resolution image).
The set will have 1,601 pieces and what looks to be 9 minifigures. It will release on 1st January 2025 and should be $149.99
The last Ideas set of 2024 has been teased by LEGO today on their website. The Botanical Garden as confirmed by the image above looks to be a large scale set, we're guessing it will be a similar size to the Natural History Museum which was released last year.
It also looks like it will have a pretty similar footprint to the X-Men X-Mansion set which is also due to be released on 1st November 2024. Maybe this is laziness from LEGO but it might just be coincidence but it will be interesting to see how similar they are when we get a chance to review them.
Images have been leaked of the Marvel X-MEN:X-Mansion LEGO set due to be released on 1st November 2024. The set is rumoured to contain 3,093 pieces and will retail for £279.99 / $329.99 / €329.99.
On first inspection the sets looks remarkably similar to the Natural History Museum modular that was released at the end of last year. I wouldn't be surprised if the build used similar techniques to the ones found on the Museum.
LEGO has officially revealed two new Sonic the Hedgehog sets that will arrive on 1 January 2025, one of which expands the current roster of LEGO Sonic minifigures.
LEGO has officially revealed two seasonal sets, both centered around Santa's delivery work. The first is Santa's Post Office, which is this year's installment in the annual Winter Village Collection. The second is the smaller Santa's Delivery Truck, which makes a nice addition to the Post Office.
The final Star Wars set of 2024 has been officially revealed today, with the unveiling of the Imperial Dropship vs. Rebel Scout Speeder. The set can be seen as a double battle pack as you get a small-scale Imperial Dropship and Rebel Scout Speeder, with three Stormtroopers and three Rebel Fleet Troopers.
The seventh minifigure in this set is QT-KT, which is also the seventh LEGO Star Wars 25th anniversary minifigure to come out this year.
After being leaked yesterday, LEGO have now officially revealed the next LEGO Star Wars Ultimate Collector Series set, Jabba's Sail Barge (75397). The set will be available from 3rd October and if you're an Insider, you'll receive the Luke Skywalker's Lightsaber GWP when purchasing it. If you're not an Insider, you'll have to wait until 6th October to qualify, but given the GWP is only available until stocks last, it's likely to sell out way before then.
