The LEGO Creator Expert Colosseum set's reign as the largest set ever (in terms of piece count) has come to an end as today LEGO revealed the World Map set (31203).
The set is made up of 11,695 pieces and is the first set to feature over 10,000 pieces. It joins the popular Art theme and will be available to buy on 1st June 2021 for £229.99 ($249.99)

LEGO have now officially revealed the Marvel Super Heroes Daily Bugle set (76178). It will be available to purchase on 1st June for £274.99 ($299.99).
The set is the largest Marvel set LEGO has produced (so far!) and is made up of 3772 pieces including a staggering 25 minifigures!
The idea behind the set is that you can relive classic matchups that have taken place such as Spider-Man vs. Green Goblin and Spider-Man vs. Doc Oc or you can create your own and it gives you all of the minifigures to do that.

LEGO has posted a teaser on social media for the upcoming Marvel Super Heroes Daily Bugle set to be released shortly.
The teaser depicts a copy of the Daily Bugle with the front page being an article about how Spider-Man is leading an attack on it. .
Set number 76178 is rumoured to be a four storey building costing around $300 with over 15 minifigures!

A few days after the teaser on social media, LEGO has officially unveiled the "The Friends Apartments" set to go along with the existing Central Perk set.
It was first thought that set number 10292 would just incorporate Monica and Rachels apartment but we're also getting Chandler and Joey's apartment. It will contain 2048 and will be available to buy from 1st June for £134.99 ($149.99)
The model includes iconic props such as the table football, the Thanksgiving turkey, Chandler and Joey's reclining chairs, the cat that attacks Ross and even the duck that Joey adopts.

A few weeks ago there was a rumour going around that LEGO were going to add another set to the Friends Sitcom theme in the form of Monica's Apartment. At the time there was no evidence to suggest this was true so it was just taken as speculation but now LEGO have teased the set on their social media channels.
The image LEGO posted shows Phoebe, Rachel, Ross and Joey peering round the door to Monica's apartment with Monica and Chandler standing inside. It's quite a close up shot so we can't make any many details of the set itself but if the Central Perk set is anything go buy this one will live up to expectation.

LEGO has officially revealed the Star Wars The Bad Batch Attach Shuttle set, from the new Disney+ show that will go on sale on 1st August 2021.
The set is number 75314 and will retail for £89.99 ($99.99). It has 969 pieces which includes 5 minifigures.

The Creator Expert Taj Mahal may now be retired but you've still got a chance to build the iconic building (albeit on a smaller scale) as LEGO are adding a Taj Mahal set to their line of Architecture sets.
Set number 21056 has 2,022 pieces and will be available from June for the retail price of $119.99.
At a first glance the LEGO designer has done an excellent job replicating the famous building and it will be a welcome addition to a popular theme. It also offers a nice opportunity for fans who couldn't justify spending the £299.99 for the Creator Expert set to be able to buy a similar set with a smaller price tag.

A few weeks ago we managed to get hold of some leaked images of a 2021 LEGO Speed Champions set that was found in a US Store. That got us excited because we knew it would only be a matter of time before LEGO released details of all of the Speed Champions sets for this year and now we have them.
There were already some rumours about what these sets would be and those rumours have proven to be accurate. In total there are 6 sets in this wave with three of those featuring one car and the other three featuring two cars.

Only a few hours ago I was saying that LEGO should soon be giving details of the summer wave of Harry Potter sets and as if by magic they've gone and done it. Alongside the two sets we already knew about (Hogwarts Chamber of Secrets and Hogsmeade Village) there are 6 other sets to be released making 8 in total.
Generally my thoughts on this range is very positive, there are some surprises that I didn't see coming like the "Harry Potter & Hermione Granger" set featuring buildable minifigures and the Wizard Chess set is a stroke of genius. I probably won't be buying the former and even though the chess set doesn't appeal to me that much I'll probably pick it up just for the gold minifigure.
