About this set
This set was produced as a Christmas gift that was given out free to all LEGO employees. The set was also distributed to any business partners, members of the LEGO Ambassador Network (LAN), and LEGO Certified Professionals (LCPs). The set depicts the house of LEGO's founder Ole Kirk Christiansen, which is now home to a section of the LEGO Idea House. A near identical version of this set was given out three years earlier to participants of the 2009 LEGO Inside Tour (LIT), with the only difference being the LIT version came in LIT branded packaging. Based on the number of LEGO employees in 2012, it's estimated that around 10,500 copies of this set were distributed.
