The 10 Best Collectible Minifigures As Decided By The LEGO Community

10th January 2024

LEGO Collectible Minifigures are now on their 25th series and there have also been numerous licensed series since the theme launched in 2010. Among the hundreds of minifigures to collect, everyone has their own personal favourite. But what's the “best” Collectible minifigure according to the LEGO community?

One recently launched website has made finding the best LEGO minifigures its mission and provides an answer to this question. Brickelo uses an ELO algorithm that works out a rating for each minifigure based on the result of match ups between two randomly selected minifigures, where users are asked to pick their favourite. The amount of points awarded or deducted from the winning and losing minifigures depend on the rating of each minifigure prior to the match up result.

The results from the 130,000 user ratings submitted so far are very interesting, so in this article we provide a rundown of the top ten highest rated Collectible Minifigures according to this data (which is correct as of 10th January 2024)

10. Demolition Dummy (col008)

9. Lady Liberty (col084)

8. Minotaur (col088)

2. Wizard (col179)

The results show there is clear preference for historical minifigures, with the top eight all arguably belonging to this category. And I have to say, when asked to pick my own top ten list (which I did last year), these were all in the running.

Unsurprisingly, the lowest rated Collectible Minifigures are the everyday characters, such as the Nurse (col011) from Series 1, the Plumber (col144) from Series 9, and the Trend Setter (col158) from Series 10.

If you don't agree with this top ten list, then you may want to head over to Brickelo to have your say!

Their website also provides the top rated minifigures for each of the most popular LEGO themes, such as Star Wars, Marvel, Lord of the Rings, and more.
